I purchased a 1970 mustang fastback on e-bay. the seller stated
that the car was close to show condition. When the car arrived
here in San Diego it didn’t run. The lady at the shipping company
noted the problem and I had a friend bring his trailer when we
picked the car up. The car was shipped via a commercial shipper
the car was loaded on the hauler and was never taken off until
it arrived here in San Diego. I called the seller who stated that
the car ran fine when he took it to the shipper but he did state that
they took it there via trailer. I had a profesional shop check the
engine and they found out that the cam had three flat lobes. It
cost me $2,350.00 to have the engine removed cleaned bearing
replaced cam replaced and the engine put back in the car.
Unfortunately four months have gone by. I have been very ill and
the auto shop didn’t get the job done in a timely maner.
a. is there any recourse to get my money back for the repair.

I am a trader based in UAE. I have a Supplier/shipper from saudi and Buyer from other country. I have thought of switching B/L to keep identities of both supplier and end buyer from each other. Is this a foolproof method.Port of shipping will remain the same.

I recently made another thread on here, but I just found in the last minute a notice on the door from the shipping company (TNT, but the shipper is UPS I see) and it said they will re-deliver on Monday, since I didn’t sign for it on Friday. They said “In person signature is required”, and “Adult signature required (minmum 21 years of age).
Uh oh, I am 17 years old, what am I supposed to do? My Dad isn’t here, I don’t really want my mom knowing I ordered something, so I’m in a pickle here. Will they ask for identification? Will they refuse to give the package to me? Can my mom sign? What do I do?! Thanks.

I bought a used Sims 2 for PC on Amazon. It doesn’t look like the shipper has been on Amazon for a while. I’m getting worried because I’m wondering how the seller will be informed that an item of her’s has been bought.
Will Amazon send her an email on her Amazon account or will it be on her personal email?

i need advise fast. this guy bought something from me. he sent me a personal check. told me that i can keep my part and the rest will have to be given to the shipper. so i thought id just hand the rest to whoever comes to pick up what that man bought. so then he told me to send some of it to the shipper. so i did. thinking id give the rest to the shipper when they arrive. but now he wants me to give the rest to his relative in another state. keep in mind, im in one state, the shipper in another and the relative in another state and this buyer is out of the USA for family problems. so as soon as he told me to send to his relative i said, “no, it stops here.”you never told me this from the beginning so i wont do it. i told him id give the rest to the shipper when he gets here. so the buyer is so freaked out. im worried that im stuck in some illegal mess here. i dont want to get into trouble. so thats why i stopped. will i get into trouble if this will turn out illegal?im stuck.i needHELP
i cashed the check at a bank and it was ok. im sure that if the check was false the bank would never of cashed it. i dont understand how could this be a scam? what will he get out of this? im just so tired of him begging me to send the rest of the money to his relative. i feel kinda scared in a way that he might get me. i dont want to call the police just yet. i just cant take time out of my business to deal with this. unless it really gets out of hand. but for now i hope he backs off. did i do the right thing, not going any further with his instructions? i stopped and im not planning on listening to him. any more advise or personal experiences. i need some help on what to do. thanks.

the shipper told me that he shipped on DEC 4th 3 pm and now is DEC 6th and I still don’t see any updates on the tracking number.
Is he lying? or Ups just didn’t update it??
here is the tracking number : 1Z 86X R95 03 9367 202 3
One more thing is that..
the buyer actually created the label on the internet…
that’s why I am thinking that he is lying.
